AA4 LOBI and SENOUFO , BURKINA FASO

A land where traditions are perennials, the west of Burkina Faso will give you the opportunity to meet a genuine Africa. The aim of this trip is to meet local peoples and all of their activities (social, traditional and professional).

DAY 1 :   arrival in OUAGADOUGOU, transfer , diner and night at Palm Beach hotel***.

DAY 2 : after breakfast, departure to BOBO DIOULASSO. A first stop to see sacred crocodiles that live in the pond of SABOU. Lunch at BOROMO, a place where you will, maybe, meet elephants. At least, at KORO, you will visit a small Bobo’s village built on the rock. Diner and night at the Auberge hotel***.

DAY 3 : second town of the Burkina Faso, BOBO DIOULASSO is a greenness city. Tour of the museum where are represented in live size Senoufo’s, Peulh’s, Bobo’s houses. You will also discover its old district and its mosque in banco built more than à century ago. After diner an evening party with traditional music is foreseen for those who are interested. Diner and night at the Auberge hotel ***.

DAY 4 : departure to BANFORA, where you will tour sugar cane plantations. A stop to admire the domes of FABEDOUGOU ( looking as real calcareous cathedrals carved by erosion), followed by a walk around the waterfalls of KERFIGUELA where bathing is possible. Then you will sail with a pirogue on the lake of TENGRELA and look for hippopotamus. Diner and night at the Sugar Cane hotel in Banfora

DAY 5 : Lunch in BOROMO (local restaurant). You will arrive at Ouaga in the middle of the afternoon. Diner and spending night in Palm Beach hotel***.

DAY 6 : tour of OUAGADOUGOU with its bronze makers, its market and its crafts-men’s center. Transfer to the airport during the afternoon.
